I believe that Jesus died for me, but how do I receive Him as my Savior?
You can pray something like this if your heart leads you to do so:
‘Lord, I know that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You, Jesus, undeservingly died for me after you lived the perfect, sinless life I could not. You earned eternal life but laid you life down for my sake instead and suffered on the cross in my place. You then rose from the dead. I humbly ask You to lead my life to be my Lord and Savior. I put my trust for salvation and forgiveness with you and not in my own goodness. I fall short, you do not. You will better run my life than I could. I wish to honor you with the rest of my life.’
“By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works (what you yourself do), so no man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

Finally, let someone know of your decision. God directs us to do this, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Make this decision today. There are many things that become first on our list of important things to do. Shouldn't the care of your eternal destiny be at the top of the list. God tells us "Today is the day of salvation" (2Corinthians 6:2).
